What the site produces
DahabPrices combines external reference data with tables, calculators and explanatory guides. Metal quotes come from Standard Bullion; daily currency conversion comes from currency-api. Source names, links and dates are part of the price explanation, not an endorsement of a provider's products.
Country pages calculate a reference in a selected currency. They are not independent surveys of each country's shops. Karat ratios are nominal unless a specific fineness is entered. Making charges, taxes and product premiums are not silently assumed.
Guides and automated updates
Guides explain concepts such as troy weight, purity, making charges and chart interpretation, with references. A guide's review date is separate from a quote's timestamp. An automatic price refresh does not mean the editorial text was reviewed again that minute.
Price caches and Telegram images are updated automatically after checks on units, values and dates. A source outage does not create invented replacement history. Delayed data retains its source time and an appropriate warning. A published Telegram image is a fixed snapshot; the website may change afterward.
Checking a discrepancy
Before treating a number as an error, match metal, weight, purity, currency and source time, then separate metal content from fees. Sources and methodology explains the calculation and its limits.
When reporting through a listed contact email, include the page URL, currency, purity, source time and comparison value. A full personal invoice or financial details are unnecessary. Correcting an input or formula does not turn an older Telegram image into a live update.
Independence and advertising
The site does not sell gold, execute trades or manage users' money. It does not promise investment returns or a certain price forecast. Calculators are educational estimates; a seller's actual complete offer needs separate verification.
Attribution does not imply that a data provider endorses the site. If advertisements are introduced, they should remain distinct from tables and calculators, without posing as a required calculation button or an editorial recommendation.
